Zeina Hamzeh

Zeina Hamzeh is Senior Director of Legal and Business Affairs at Warner/Chappell Music, Inc. In this capacity, Zeina drafts and negotiates music publishing agreements for both contemporary and legacy artists and composers from all genres. She also reviews and drafts digital licenses between Warner/Chappell and media companies. Zeina's position requires her to regularly analyze US and international copyright law and provides guidance on legal copyright issues. She also participates in regular meetings to review pending deals with members of the Warner/Chappell A&R department and actively participates in all stages of music production library acquisitions.
Zeina co-teaches Entertainment Law at Southwestern Law School and is active in various legal entertainment organizations, including the Beverly Hills Bar Association and the Association of Independent Music Publishers. She serves as Vice Chair on the Committee on Music and Personal Appearances for the ABA Forum on Entertainment and Sports Law. Zeina has also served as a panelist at seminars sponsored by the American Bar Association, Southwestern Law School, and the Grammy Foundation’s Entertainment Law Initiative (ELI), where she also donates her time as a judge for the annual ELI Essay Contest.
She earned her J.D. from Southwestern, where she was an award-winning member of Moot Court and co-authored “Use of Loan-out Corporations in the Entertainment Industry” with Professor Robert Lind (Andrews Entertainment Industry Litigation Reporter, January 2006). She received her B.A. in Communication Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles.
